Gust Fiebiger, 94, of Warsaw, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana.
Gust was born on November 4, 1930, in Jessie, North Dakota to Adolph and Mary (Heinz) Fiebiger. On August 25, 1956 he married the love of his life, Maria Soto, in Aguada, Puerto Rico. They shared 41 years together before her passing.
Gust proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1950-1953.
He worked in maintenance at DA-LITE Screen for 23 years before retiring. Gust enjoyed gardening until his knees went out, building things out of wood, playing cards, and researching on the computer. He would also read the daily newspaper to "see if his obituary was in there." He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warsaw.
Gust will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Priscilla Fiebiger of Warsaw, sisters-in-law, Luz Wright and Noemi Criscenzo, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in passing by his wife in May 14, 1998, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, and parents.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 12:15 p.m. in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Ct. Warsaw with Father David Langford officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00a.m. - 12:15 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral chapel.
Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.
The family kindly request the memorial donations be made to Kosciusko County Cancer Fund, C/O K-21, Health Foundation, 1101 Park Avenue, Winona Lake, IN 46590.
