Harley loved to play basketball when he was younger, and absolutely loved playing softball with locals in Kennard and was a die-hard Dallas Cowboy Fan.
Harlan is survived by wife, Susie Upchurch of Crockett; brothers, Benson Upchurch of Crockett, Jerry Upchurch of The Philippines; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of close friends.
He was preceded in death by parents, Trumon Upchurch and Mildred Polk; brother, Larry Upchurch in 2003 and his sister, Baby Rose.
Graveside funeral services for Harlan Wayne Upchurch will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 19, 2025 at the Mount Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
