Harold Lehtma

Harold Lehtma, age 94, died July13, 2025 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. He was born October 19, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY to Helmuth and Elizabeth Lehtma. Early in his life he served in the US Army as a fireman. Later in life, his profession was that of a professional house painter. He was also an avid hunter, fisherman, and antique dealer. He lived in Odenton, MD since 1970. A devoted Christian man, he was a former member of Jessup Baptist Church and current member of South Shore Baptist Church. He served as a deacon, Sunday School teacher, and youth group leader. On occasion, he was known to preach when needed. He was married to his wife Carol Edith Owen for 66 years until her death on April 30,2015. He is survived by his son Daniel David Lehtma and his wife Elizabeth and their sons Aaron Michael and Matthew Adam Lehtma. He was predeceased by a son David Harold Lehtma and a daughter Jeanette Lucille Houck. He is survived by son-in-law Melvin Houck and his children Todd Houck and his wife Rashelle, Jakob Houck, Becky Vogel and her husband Robbie. Also survived by 3 great grandchildren Ashlynn Houck, Levi Houck and Elliott Vogel.
