Harriet Kay (Harker) Madden, most recently of Kerrville, TX, was born October 6, 1943 in Idaho Falls, Idaho and passed on to eternity on June 30, 2024 after a 9 month battle against cancer with her daughter and husband at her side. She is survived by her eternal companion of 60 years, Michael Madden, of Kerrville, TX son Matthew, daughter-in-law Rene of Aubrey, TX, daughter Carina of Portland, OR, son Drew, daughter-in-law Natalie of Kerrville, TX. Along with 7 grandchildren, Brittany, Makaela, Courtney, Kayloni, Madeleine, Lucas, and Alexandra. She was preceded in death by her parents and her four siblings. We are sure she is enjoying a happy reunion with her loved ones. Although we miss her, we are joyful that she is at peace and completed her mortal assignment with grit and determination. Harriet lived a life of service, primarily in her many assignments as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her life was enriched by her association with her family and many friends, with whom she enjoyed spending time. She was loved by many and will be sorely missed.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Kerrville Funeral Home; interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Following the services friends are invited to a reception at the family home.
Pallbearers will be Drew Madden, Matt Madden, Kayloni Terance, Makaela Terance, Brittany Madden, Courtney Madden and special helpers, Lucas and Maddie Madden.
