Harvey D. Won, age 68, of Naperville, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday October 15, 2024. Born on February 22, 1956, in Madison, Wisconsin to Quong Lee Won and Siu Hing Won. Harvey was the devoted husband of Wendy Won and the proud father to his children Nicholas Won and Jamie Won (Christopher Brown). He is survived by his loving sister Jeanne Yuen (Fred Yuen), his brothers Danny Won and Stanley Won, the family dog Kaylee, as well as many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Quong Lee Won and Siu Hing Won.
Harvey graduated with his Bachelor's in Engineering from Cornell University, where he met his wife, Wendy. After graduating Harvey began what would be a long, distinguished career with General Motors. Harvey and Wendy eventually moved to Chicago, Illinois where Harvey graduated with his Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago.
Harvey and Wendy married on June 29, 1985 in Chicago, Illinois. Harvey, Wendy and their family moved around the country, and the world, throughout their lives, including Indiana, Michigan, and China, before settling in Illinois.
Harvey's friendliness, wisdom, helpful advice, and love for his family will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on in our hearts forever.
A visitation will take place on Saturday November 9, 2024 from 9am to 11am at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 24021 Royal Worlington Drive, Naperville, IL 60564. A service will follow at 11am. Interment private.
