Hayes Carter and Emmett Lee Hanney, infant sons of Brady Lee and Katy Danielle Smith Hanney, passed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, May 22, 2025, in Texarkana, Texas.
They were preceded in death by a great-grandfather, James Hanney; their great-grandparents, Jimmy McWhorter, C. Wayne Smith, and Polly Pate; and their aunt, Cara Smith.
They are survived by their parents, their paternal grandparents, Greg and Angela Hanney of De Queen;their maternal grandparents, Carter and Angela Smith of De Queen; their great-grandparents, Debbie Hanney of De Queen, Jane McWhorter of Lockesburg, Myria Smith of Ashdown, David and Lillian Pate of De Queen; aunts and uncles, Ryan and Hannah Hanney of De Queen, and Quinn and Alexandra Smith of Texarkana, Arkansas; cousins, Linden Hanney, Berkleigh Hanney and Clark Smith, and other family members.
Graveside funeral services were held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, in the Sweet Home Cemetery in De Queen with Bro. Kenny Haney officiating, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home in De Queen.
