Heather Menefee

Heather Menefee, 67, of Navarre, died Wednesday, August 27, 2025 in her residence following a 3 year battle with Dementia. Born August 10, 1958 in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Bryden and Margaret (Brisgal) Henderson. She was formerly employed as a case manager with Job and family services. She was Catholic by faith. Heather enjoyed helping with Special Olympics bowling teams and was a member of the New Philadelphia Elks Lodge. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Jeff Lieser, in 1981. Surviving are her 3 children Todd (Brittany) Ogazaly Carter of San Antonio, Texas, Matthew Menefee of North Canton and Lindsey (William Teeple) Cleary of Navarre; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; 2 brothers Bryden (Debbie) Henderson of Stow, John (Barry Pollard) Henderson of Lenox, Mass. and a sister Beth (Lyn) Houze of Bolivar. A memorial services will be held Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Zoar with Deacon Lyn Houze officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of services. The Lebold-Smith Funeral Home in Bolivar is handling the arrangements. The family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Heather be made to Tuscarawas County Special Olympics at 610 Commercial Ave. New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
