Hector Cruz Sr. , 70, passed away on October 1, 2025 at HCA - Clear Lake Hospital. He was the husband Alicia Cruz. They shared 44 year together.

Born in Matamoros, Mexico, he was the son of Feliciano Cruz Sr. and Maria Padilla. He was employed at Davis-Lynch and worked as Supervisor.

He was a member of Shrine of the True Cross. He enjoyed fishing and watching football and baseball games. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic and was a self contained man. He was predeceased by his father, Feliciano Cruz Sr., and mother, Maria Padilla.

He is survived by his wife, Alicia, his children, Hector Jr., Roman, Daisy, Kathy, Catrina, grandchildren, Layla and Elijah, and his brother, Feliciano Jr.
