Henry "Hank" Casper
Henry "Hank" Casper, 66, of Erie, passed away Wednesday July 30, 2025. He was born in Erie on November 30, 1958 a son of the late Lewis Casper, Jr. and Lois Watcherson Casper.
Hank earned his associates degree in fashion illustration and worked as a waiter at the Plymouth Tavern and as head waiter at Pie In The Sky for 27 years. Most recently he worked as head display artist at the Casual Corner in Pittsburgh.
He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church and was a talented artist who enjoyed artwork and crossword puzzles.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Lewis Casper, III.
Survivors include his sister, Judy Schwindt (Patrick) of Phoenix; his nieces and nephews, Heidi Kipp (Mike Hazel), Gretchen Schwindt Flora (Shane), and Patrick Schwindt, Jr. (Julie); and his great nieces and nephews, Jordan and Riley Kipp and Lukas, Gabe, and Grace Schwindt.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services there at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
