Henry C. Flack, a devoted husband, loving father, and hardworking man with an unwavering sense of humor and determination, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025 at his home in Arlington, Texas. He was the beloved husband of Theresa Flack for 57 wonderful years, their journey together beginning on a crisp October day when they married. Their love story started at a high school pep rally, where Henry mustered the courage to ask Theresa if she wanted a car ride-a simple question that led to a lifetime of cherished memories.

Henry attended high school in Garnett, Kansas, graduating in 1962 with aspirations of joining the Air Force. However, as the only son at the time, his request was denied. Determined to forge his own path, he attended Allen Junior College and was later accepted to Kansas University. In pursuit of new opportunities, he set his sights on UCLA. Halfway there, he called Theresa and asked her to pack her bags so they could embark on this journey together. Henry ultimately earned his Master's degree in Business Administration, setting the foundation for a successful career.

Henry and Theresa married in 1967 and soon welcomed their first son, Henry Dean Flack. His career in the retail industry took the family to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where they welcomed their second son, James Edward Flack. Throughout their years in Tulsa, the family made unforgettable memories on vacations to Kansas City, Missouri, visiting amusement parks such as Worlds of Fun and Silver Dollar City.

After four years, they moved to Wichita, Kansas, where Henry enjoyed hobbies such as fishing, walking, golfing, and collecting an extensive library of novels. Nine years later, the Flack family grew once more with the surprise arrival of their third son, Jason Colgate Flack.

Henry's career flourished, leading the family to St. Louis, Missouri, where he spent four years rising through the ranks in the retail industry before becoming a Regional Manager. This role led him to Charlotte, North Carolina, and later back to St. Louis. However, Henry, always eager for new opportunities, accepted an offer in Texas, spending five years in Houston before finally planting roots in Dallas, where he and Theresa have lived for the past 30 years. Together, they enjoyed dining out, watching movies, and sharing countless laughs.

More than anything, Henry took immense pride in his family. He loved hearing about his sons' journeys as they built their own families, always offering wisdom on being a loving husband and devoted father. He cherished his daughters-in-law-Sandy, Kim, and Chelsea-and adored his granddaughters, Ciara, Sydney, Mila, and Reese. He was also blessed with two great-grandsons, Archer and Jayden.

Preceding Henry in death are his dear parents Henry C.B. Flack and Margaret (Lickteig) Flack and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Flack.

Henry's legacy of love, perseverance, and kindness will live on in all who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will forever remain in our hearts.

John 16:22 - "So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy."

We will always love you, Henry.
