Mr. Henry Dargan “Snookie” Jordan, Jr., 84, of Patrick, went to his Heavenly Home on Christmas Eve, December 24th, 2022.
His service will be conducted at 2:00 on Thursday afternoon, December 29th, 2022, from Brown Springs Baptist Church. Reverend Donnie Faulkenbury and Reverend Jeff Williams will officiate with burial following in the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening, from 5-7 at Norton Funeral Home.
A native and lifelong resident of Chesterfield County, Mr. Jordan was a son of the late Henry Dargan, Sr. & Minnie Lewis Jordan. Snookie loved cutting grass and raking leaves. He enjoyed having breakfast at Carolina Lunch; where he would speak to everyone on the way to his back table where he sat.
Surviving are his daughter, Windy (J.R.) Smith of Patrick; grandchildren: Josh Davis, Austin Davis, and Luke Smith; special nieces, Evelyn Talbert and Joyce Newman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Katherine Jordan; and several siblings.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Norton Funeral Home at 1414 W. Carolina Ave. Hartsville, SC 29550 to assist with funeral expenses.
