Henry Sullivan Obituary

Henry was born in Baltimore on October 23, 1941 and was the son of the late Clarence E. and Emma (Friesen) Sullivan. He graduated from Southern High School. Henry went on to spend most of his life working for Giant Food Company as a forklift operator. He was a very hard worker and enjoyed staying busy. He was a member of the McSherrystown Knights of Columbus and the Home Association. He loved the outdoors, puzzles, and western movies. Henry was a devoted husband and father to his children.
In addition to his wife Janice, Henry is survived by his son Brian C. Sullivan and wife Michelle; his daughter Lisa C. Dennis and husband Michael; and his grandchildren Alexander "Alex", Sean, and Ryan. He is also survived by 1 sister; 1 brother; his sister-in-law Loretta Bowers; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Scott Sullivan; and 7 brothers and sisters.
Following cremation, a Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday September 18, 2021 at 11:00AM St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 220 3rd St. Hanover PA 17331, with Fr. Michael Reid celebrating. A gathering will be held on Friday September 17, 2021 from 6:00-8:00PM at Murphy-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 501 Ridge Ave. McSherrystown PA 17331.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Henry's memory can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

I'm so sorry to learn of Henry's passing..I apologize that I'm writing this so late..I wasn't aware Henry had passed, until earlier today..I worked with Henry, for 25 yrs ( Until his retirement ) Ironically, after I retired, I got a job, delivering medicine..One of my reg stops, was Henry's brother Pete..Again, just wanted to send my condolences, to the family..Really enjoyed, working with Henry.
