With sorrow more profound than we can express, we share the impossible and unimaginable loss of our beloved Henry Arden Thibault, born on January 28, 2024, to Amanda (Lindquist) and Rene Thibault, and gone far too soon on March 1, 2025, held in the loving arms of his parents.
Known affectionately as Hank, Hankers, Hanky Doodle Man, and Bub, Henry's joyful light could not be ignored, leaving an imprint on all who met him. His twinkling eyes and mischievous seven-tooth grin brightened every room. A dimple on his right cheek, his long lashes, and a sweet angel kiss on his forehead are forever etched in our hearts.
Our perfect baby boy adored his mama, clinging to her fiercely with endless hugs and kisses. His daddy could always make him belly laugh, and his big sister, Layne, was his constant, his partner in every adventure. They were destined to be siblings, and their bond, free of quarrels and filled with pure devotion, was something truly rare and beautiful.
He had the wisdom of an old soul, always knowing when to turn up the charm, offer comfort, or sprinkle a little extra silliness to lighten a heavy moment. Fearless and endlessly curious, Henry took on the world at full speed. He was a climber, a thrower of balls (often lost under furniture), and a dancer who spun in circles until he toppled over, giggling. He adored Miss Rachel, Buzz Lightyear, and Sesame Street, and his favorite songs - "You'll Be in My Heart", "Yankee Doodle", and "Sunny Day"- will forever bring him back to us.
Henry visited Disney World for his first birthday, where he charmed Pluto, Olaf, Chip, and Dale. His family cherishes the memory of him drifting to sleep in his mother's arms while waiting in line for the Ratatouille ride at Epcot, a moment of love and warmth they will hold onto forever.
Henry's hugs were the best-tight, comforting, and filled with boundless love. If love alone could have kept him here, he would have lived forever. Our hearts ache for one more embrace, and we will carry his light with us always.
Left to cherish Henry's precious memory are his parents, Amanda and Rene; his big sister, Layne; his grandparents, Larry and Maria Lindquist and Victoria and John Thibault; aunts and uncles, Melissa and Jeremy Hyatt, Joshua Thibault and Meagan Hoover; a large, loving extended family; and his dear friends at Kid Savvy Family Childcare.
A celebration of Henry's life will be held on June 1, 2025, at 11 AM, at Carriage House Event Venue, 916 VT-Rte 108 S, Jeffersonville, VT. In honor of his love of laughter and adventure, we ask that guests wear bright colors and bring a memory of Hank's joy to share.
