Henry "Allan" Vice, 71, of Tallula, Illinois, passed away on February 24, 2023, at his home. He was born in Springfield, Illinois, on November 3, 1951, to Skeeter and Mary (Denton) Vice.
Allan graduated from PORTA High School. He later married Beverly "Bev" Johnson. He worked for and retired from the State of Illinois. He loved to golf and was a member of the Shambolee Golf Course in Petersburg, Illinois. He also loved to hunt and fish.
Allan is survived by his wife, Bev; his daughter, Jennifer Lovitt of Springfield, Illinois; Lynette (husband Chuck) Hess, who Allan and Bev raised; his grandchildren, Jessica Vice, David Vice, Jacob Vice, Christopher Vice, Sarah Shelldon, Brittany Estes, Brittany Hess, Natika Hess and Chasity Hess; a brother in law, Ira (wife Tracy) Johnson; and a best friend, Dennis West.
Allan was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Brandy Lee Vice; and his sister, Joyce Vice.
Cremation rites were accorded by Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg, Illinois. A celebration of life will be held by Allan's family on a later date.

So sorry to hear about Allan's passing, he was such a great guy - I went to school with him from 5th grade until we graduated in 1969.
