Herbert J. "Sonny" Jurgensen III

Herbert J. "Herb" "Sonny" Jurgensen, III, 69, passed unexpectedly on Monday, October 24, 2022 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center, with his loving family by his side.
He leaves his sister, Loretta A. Deitrick and husband John, of Oxford; Donny Bohlman, of Worcester, who was like a son to him; his nephew, Josh Pizzotti and wife Heidi, of Webster; his niece, Jessica Lanciault, of Charlton; along with great-nephews and great-nieces, cousins, and friends. Sonny was predeceased by his parents, Herbert J. Jurgensen, Jr. and Margaret L. (Tomkus) Jurgensen; his sister, Sandra S. Pizzotti; and his nephew, Jeff Lanciault.
Sonny was born in Worcester and raised in Auburn. He graduated from Auburn High School with the Class of 1970. He then graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, where he received his B.S. degree in Building Construction. Sonny worked as Draftsman and Senior Estimator for Iaccarino and Sons for many years.
Sonny was an avid and skilled photographer, who loved taking pictures of family and friends. He also loved rooting for the Patriots and watching classic movies. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the Jurgensen family from 9 – 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central St., Auburn, with a prayer service to follow at 10:30. Burial will immediately follow at St. John's Cemetery, Worcester
