Mr. Herman Lee Bunch, age 70 of Barbourville, Kentucky departed this life on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at his home. He was born on March 31, 1954 in Pineville, Kentucky, the son of Herman Bunch, Sr. and Marie (McCreary) Bunch. Herman served his country in the United States Army and was a truck driver by trade and drove for Schneider International. He believed in the Baptist faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman Sr. and Marie Bunch, and a brother Danny Ray (Tretch) Bunch.
Left behind to mourn his passing, one son, Cody Bunch and fiance’ Paige of Barbourville, two brothers, Thomas Bunch and wife Ann of Corbin and Johnny Bunch and wife Thresa of Artemus, one sister, Penny Slone of Hazard and a sister-in-law, Vicky Bunch. He also leaves behind many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Herman Bunch will be conducted on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home Chapel. He will be laid to rest in the Brock Cemetery on Walker Park Road. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
