Herman Gorab Obituary

Herman was born on June 16, 1930 in Patterson, NJ to the late Emil and May "Mitrey" Gorab. He graduated from Patterson High Scholl class of 1948. He earned his bachelor's Degree in Pharmacology from the University of Florida. He served proudly in in the US Army during the Korean War. Herman was a pharmacist who owned and operated the Warren County Pharmacy in Washington, NJ for over 30 years until his retirement in 1988. He married his soulmate Rose Doris DiRisio in 1953. Herman was a past member of the Masonic Lodge #36 in Washington. Herman loved planting and tending to his vegetable garden. He would often share his harvest with his family and neighbors. Herman will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his loving wife Doris, Herman is survived by a daughter, Lori Shirey and her husband Richard; a son David and his wife Nicole and 7 grandchildren Nickolas Gorab, Arianna Gorab, Jessica Shirey, Eric Shirey, Danielle Shirey, Gabrielle Accetturo and Sierra Accetturo,
