Homer was born September 29,1943 in Columbus,Georgia to the late Homer Lester McClung and Ruth Vester McClung. Homer worked at Georgia Pacific for 27 years. After retiring from Georgia Pacific, Homer enjoyed his family, working outside, and his old cars. He would always help those around him because he had such a big heart.
Homer is survived by his loving wife, Helon McClung, his son Jason Lamar McClung, his daughter-in-law Katrina McClung and two grandchildren Kayleigh and Caiden McClung. Sisters Janet Allen and Jean Beam, His brother Jimmy McClung. Sister-in-law Claire Durrance and brother-in-law Davy Durrance.
The family respectfully requests that flowers be omitted, and ask that contributions be made to either the American Cancer Society or St.Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
