Hope Ross Dunlow, 82, was born February 29, 1940 and passed away May 13, 2022. She is predeceased by her adopted parents, Hubert and Gertrude Ross; birth mother, Alma Dunn; her husband, Ray Dunlow along with a sister, Kaye Powell and a brother, David Powell.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Tony Dunlow (Maggie) of Deltona, FL.
Mrs. Dunlow graduated from Suffolk High School in 1958 then later graduated from Emmaunel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia. She owned and ran a collection agency many years before going to work for Virginia Employment Comm. She was active in her church, Radiant Life, as a Sunday School Teacher for both adults and teens for many years and active with adult and youth choirs. She played the organ for 50 years. She was a Royal Rangers Commander. Hope held multiple leaderships positions in Women's Ministries and helped with Meals on Wheels.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Radiant Life, 100 Kilby Shores Dr, Suffolk, VA 23434, with Pastor Jim Lewis officiating. Burial will take place at Meadowbrook Cemetery at 2 PM, after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Radiant Life Ministries.
