Hunter Makowski Obituary

Hunter's love of sports, particularly basketball, earned him the affectionate nickname "Too Nice." His admiration for LeBron James, as well as "Coach Carter" was well-known! In addition to sports, Hunter enjoyed traveling, cooking, the beach and entertaining family and friends. He was also a member of Sandbridge Community Chapel United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Stephen and Margaret Makowski; aunt, Theresa Makowski-Hofeditz; and uncle, Sergeant Major Dave Hofeditz.
Left to cherish his memory: his parents, Mark and Denise Makowski; brother, Drew Makowski; maternal grandparents, Craig and Carol Andrews; his beloved dog, Ryder; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many, many close friends.
A service of remembrance will take place at 1pm on Friday, November 17, 2023, at Sandbridge Community Chapel United Methodist Church, Virginia Beach, VA. A viewing is scheduled for 5-8pm on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 3445 Princess Anne Rd. Virginia Beach, VA 23452. Donations may be made in Hunter's name to your local ASPCA.
Hunter will always be remembered for his great smile and his fun-loving, warm-hearted, and kind demeanor.
