Ignacio "Jr" Manglona

Ignacio Toves Manglona, of Leander, Texas was called to his eternal rest on Friday, September 27, 2024, at the age of 66. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend, he was the epitome of selflessness and generosity. Ignacio truly and deeply loved his family.
Fondly known as Jr to his loving family and friends, Ignacio was born on the island of Guam on January 6, 1958. On May 28, 1977, he married the love of his life, Teresita (Terry) Leon Guerrero Salas. In 1978, they relocated to California where they would settle and raise their children, Keith and Kristine (Krissy), and in 2018 they relocated to Leander, Texas where they would enjoy retirement life and spending time with 3 of their 6 precious grandchildren.
Ignacio worked for Operating Engineers in California for 30+ years. He had a passion for heavy equipment machinery and found delight in the operation and maintenance of them. Ignacio was also an avid cook, always taking pride in preparing meals for his family. Whatever the task, he performed it with the highest of standards, and he required those same high standards of others.
Ignacio is survived by his wife, Terry; son, Keith Manglona and wife Jennifer (Jen) of California; daughter, Kristine Gonzalez and husband Roberto (Beto) of Texas; grandchildren, Jeirome, Kaya, and Karlo Manglona all of California, and Amaya, Isaiah, and Elias Gonzalez all of Texas; mother, Concepcion San Nicolas of Oklahoma; sister, Selina Hampton and husband JW of Oklahoma; his in-laws, the Salas family; and a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Preceding him in death are his father, Ignacio Flores Manglona; his stepfather, Segundo San Nicolas; his father-in-law, Francisco Salas; and his mother-in-law, Maria Salas.
