Imogene McLaughlin

Imogene McLaughlin, 97, of Greendale, IN, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025.
She was born on June 11, 1928, in Cleves, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harry Bartles and Ruth (Snyder) Bartles. Imogene married Leroy McLaughlin on May 6, 1961. Leroy came to the marriage with three children, Dennis, Denise and Michael. They later adopted a daughter Pamela.
Imogene worked in the Shipping Department at Seagram's Distillery, where she dedicated over 42 years of service before retiring. She was a former member of the United Methodist Church in Cleves, Ohio.
A devoted volunteer, Imogene served as a Pink Lady at Dearborn County Hospital. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling and dancing, and later in life, she found joy in adult coloring books. Above all, she loved caring for her family and was deeply devoted to them throughout her life.
She is survived by her children, Dennis (Barb) McLaughlin of Versailles, IN, Michael (Katherine) McLaughlin of Batesville, IN; she is also survived by 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; her sister Carol Sue Williamson of Hooven, OH, and her brother Denver "Butch" (Debbie) Bartles of Cleves, OH.
Imogene was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ruth Bartles; her beloved husband, Leroy Wayne McLaughlin; and daughters, Pamela Kay McLaughlin and Denise McLaughlin; sisters, Roberta, Doris and Patricia; brothers, Dave, Elmer, Louis, Billy and Vernon.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, IN 47001.
Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Interment will take place at River View Cemetery, Aurora, IN.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, or Rising Sun Methodist Church.
