On the day of June 19th 2025, Imogene Springer born in the town of Vestal on November 9th 1982, began her heavenly journey.
Imogene was a beloved and cherished daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and to many, she was their best friend. Imogene will be reunited with her late Mother Edna Pettis, Father Dennis Fitch Sr., Sister Rebecca Pettis and Brother William Backus.
Imogene was a loving wife and created a home with her husband surviving her Richard Springer. Together they had loving daughters surviving her, Miranda Fitch, Veronica Fitch, and Arielle Fitch. Imogene having the huge heart she did she made space to be a mother to those who needed it most. Those daughters surviving her are Tiffany Travis, Ashley Fitch, Harleha Miller, Madison Miller, and Lorelai Miller. Her sons surviving her are Keagan Park, Justin Sanders, Dominick Gleeson, Trevor Miller, and Gunner Miller.
Imogene was also a very dedicated sister, she is survived by sisters, Christina Pettis, Kimberly Crooks and April Fitch. And brothers Dennis Fitch Jr., Carl Fitch, and Ronald Jones.
We all knew that her grandchildren who are surviving her Katilaina Fitch, Isabella Park, and Jameson Park, held a huge part of Imogene's heart.
Everyday for those blessed enough to be a loved one of Imogene's knew that she was an angel on Earth to all of us. She helped many throughout her lifetime and raised many as her own. Her family was always centrally focused in all Imogene did. Her nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family all knew Imogene for heart being the home you can always turn to. Many found love and security from Imogene, she will forever be a part of all of us and forever be in our hearts.
Services for Imogene will be held on Friday June 27th at Hopler and Eschbach Funeral Home 483 Chenango St. Binghamton with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:50 am, and a funeral service beginning at 12:00 noon. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
