Irene "Nanny," age 73, on January 24, 2024, of Conshohocken, PA, formerly of Narberth.
Irene passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early hours of January 24th. Irene loved her family, friends and grandchildren. She was referred to as "Nanny" by her grandchildren. She was a devoted mother and was the biggest supporter of her only son Nick. Irene lived with her sister Elaine. She loved to play the slots, you could find her with her sister, along with her friends at any of the local Casinos. Irene was the office manager at MG Tree for 14 years where she touched the lives of many. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the countless number of friends and relatives who spent many hours with her.
Predeceased by her parents, Helen (nee Kolbasowski), and Anthony Amadio.
Survived by her son, Nicholas "Nick" J. Mainardi (Barbara Guardiola), her four grandchildren, Nicole, Christopher, Alondra, and Gabriella, and her siblings, Anthony (the late Pat), Elaine (the late Jack) Winchell, and Rita Chidoni (the late Michael).
Relatives & friends are invited to her Visitation Friday, February 2nd 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM followed by her Memorial Service 12:30 PM in the Main Chapel at the DAnjolell Memorial Home of Broomall 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. Inurnment Private.
