Isaac Matthew Perron “Ike,” aged 23, of Manheim, beloved son, brother, and grandson, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. He was born in Lancaster to J.P. and Michele Stauffer Perron of Manheim. Isaac grew up working in construction with his father and chose that as his profession. He worked as a carpenter in commercial and residential construction during the past few years. He was a talented carpenter, excelling in his trim work. He also made custom furniture including starting his own table rental business while still in high school. A graduate of Manheim Central High School in 2019, Isaac excelled as a football player for the Manheim Central Barons. He pursued higher education at McDaniel College in Westminster, MD, and Grove City College, where he continued his football career. Growing up Isaac enjoyed competing in sports and dreamed of playing in football state championship game which he did his senior year. He was so proud to be a Baron. Apart from sports, he enjoyed working out, weightlifting, golfing, skiing, hiking, riding four-wheeler, spending time with family and vacations in Ocean City, New Jersey. Isaac also had a love for music, playing drums and guitar and spending time with his brother, grandfather, and other musicians. Isaac was strong in his faith and loved the Lord from a young age. Isaac was a quiet natured and thoughtful young man, but those who knew him well loved his goofy sense of humor and his contagious laugh. His deep affection for family, especially his cousins, was evident throughout his life. Isaac will be remembered for his love and kindness, deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, J.P. and Michele; sisters Michaela (Warren McDonald) of Lititz and Grace Perron of Manheim; brother Eli Perron of Nashville, TN; niece Lucy Margaret McDonald; maternal grandparents James and Augusta Stauffer of Auburn; and paternal grandfather James Perron Sr. Preceding him in death is his paternal grandmother, Margaret “Peggy” Whitaker Perron.
A Celebration of Life Service for Isaac will be held at Lancaster Evangelical Free Church, LEFC, located at 419 Pierson Road, Lititz, on Sunday, March 24, 2024. Friends may pay their respects and support the family at the church starting at 1:00 PM. Service will be held at 2:30 PM. The interment will be held privately at the family's convenience.
