Isabel Connor Obituary

Isabel wore many hats over the course of her life, but she most notably spent thirteen years working in the cafeteria for Academy Park High School, where she retired as head cook in 2007. She loved the holidays, shopping, camping at Muddy Run along the Susquehanna River, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Connor; and her sons, Vincent DiVeterano and John DiVeterano (Trina).
Survivors include her siblings, Sally Schaefer and Jeni Scales; her children Christine (DiVeterano) Severs (Daniel), Daniel DiVeterano (Danielle), and Kelli Connor; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. A link to this charity can be found at the bottom of this webpage.
Family and friends are invited to Isabel's visitation on Saturday September 23, 2023 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home 301 Chester Pike, Norwood. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 1:00pm. Interment will be private.
