Ismael Juarez Rivera Sr., a beloved son, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on October 16, 2024, in Mathis, Texas. He was born on June 21, 1958, in Mathis to Antonio E and Marina Rivera Sr. He lived a life that touched many hearts and created lasting memories in the community he cherished.
Ismael was the cherished son of Antonio E. and Marina Rivera Sr., who, along with his brothers Oscar Rivera and Antonio Rivera Jr., predeceased him. Throughout his life, he carried their memories with grace and love. Ismael's legacy is carried on through his Brother, Isreal (Miroslava) Rivera; Daughters Melissa Ann Bell, Criselda Rivera, Marina Rivera, and Marissa Rivera; his Son Ismael Rivera Jr.; and his Grandchildren Blaine Bell, Dominic Rivera, Daniel Rivera, Jacob Rivera, and Melanie Rivera, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
Ismael was known for his kindness and unwavering support for his family and friends. His commitment to his loved ones highlighted his character, and those who knew him admired his ability to bring joy and laughter into every gathering.
The family invites all who knew Ismael to honor his memory during the upcoming services. A visitation will be at 3:00 pm and prayer service will be at 7:00 pm on October 25, 2024 at Winsteads' Funeral Home. Funeral Service celebrating his life will be at Winsteads' Funeral Home on October 26, 2024, at 10:00 AM, followed by interment at Cenizo Hill Cemetery.
Ismael Juarez Rivera Sr. leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and strength, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace.
