Anderson, SC - Jack Wardlaw, 90, of Anderson, SC, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at his residence.
Born on May 9, 1934, in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Henry Wardlaw and Ruth Wheeler. He retired from White Jones Hardware in Anderson after 46 years of service and was a devoted member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple.
Surviving is his wife, Patricia Wardlaw; his children, Ricky Wardlaw, Brian Wardlaw, Kristi Lanier (Tim), Lori Whitt (Scotty), Deron Wardlaw (Lisa), Kendra Wardlaw, and Jessica Mize (Carl); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, June Webb and Rebecca Wardlaw; and several nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Bobbie Wardlaw, his daughter, Pam Hudson, and her husband, Tommy, as well as his siblings, Edsel Wardlaw, Winchell Wardlaw, Mary Weathers, Henry Wardlaw, Carolyn Whitfield, and Linda Dove.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park conducted by Reverend Sam Duncan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621, or Gethsemane Baptist Temple, P.O. Box 13228, Anderson, SC 29624.
