Jackie Ice, born on June 12, 1948, in San Diego, California, left this world on June 7, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. Her passing has left a void that can never be filled, and her memory will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Jackie was a remarkable woman who embodied strength and resilience. She faced life's challenges with unwavering determination and an unyielding spirit. A caring mother to her children and a dedicated provider for her family, Jackie never gave up on those she loved. Her caring nature knew no bounds as she selflessly devoted herself to raising her children by herself. She honed her skills as a performer on the square with the James Gang,
Jackie dedicated herself to creating change and fostering unity within her community. In pursuit of this, she helped create the original People Helping People organization.
Jackie is survived by her children: Carole J. Stokes, Carl R. Fowler (Lisa), Karen K. Fowler, Sharon K. Fowler; Grandchildren: Preston Garett, Brandon Ray, Matthew James, Crystal, Ashley, Justin, Johnny Duane, Alan Michael, Amber Lynn: Great Grandchildren: Breanna, Grayson, Addalyn, Abigail, Haisley, Jase; siblings: Richard D. Ice II, Tommy Ice, Debbie Coffin, Michael Ice
