Jackie McManus Latham

Iris Jackie McManus Latham, 87, resident of Cross Hill, widow of Don Latham, passed away Friday, February 27, 2026 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born September 5, 1938, in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Curtis McManus and Fannie Mae Anderson McManus Connors. She attended Cross Hill schools and retired from Blazers Restaurant. She was also the owner/operator of Catering by Jackie and ran the snack shop at Rolling S Golf Club.

She was a member of Cedar Wood Community Church and the Red Hat Society, the Ladies Golf Association and Star Fort Golf Club. An avid golfer, she was also an excellent cook and hostess.

Surviving are a daughter, Donna Southerland of Cross Hill; a son, Larry Latham and wife Kristi of Spartanburg; a sister, Delores (Ray) Satterfield of Greenwood; six grandchildren, Zane (Stephanie) Latham, Brandi (Scott Ray) Lowman, Joseph (Michaela) Southerland, Sally Latham, Ethan Latham and Ashton Crow; five great-grandchildren, William Cade Lowman, Kenley Lowman (Cameran Barker), Easton Lowman, Caroline Latham, Zane Latham II, and; three great-great grandchildren, Paisley Lowman, Zaiden Barker and Brynley Barker; and a special niece, Tracey (Marc) Weiss of Buffalo, NY.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Kenneth Arthur "Arty" Southerland, Jr.; a great-great grandson, Layken Barker; two brothers, James McManus and Ronnie McManus and a sister, Marie Jackson.

Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, March 6, at the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clint Carter officiating. Private burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Honorary escort will include, Gene Norris, Paul Hanna, Ira Champion, Marc Weiss and David Spoon.

The family is at her home in Cross Hill and will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Friday.
