Jacquelee M. "Jackie" Mower, 76, of Shippensburg, PA, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, April 10, 2025. Born on March 17, 1949, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. Myers and Freda Y. (Heckman) Myers. Jacquelee was the devoted wife of John Richard Mower, Sr., with whom she shared 56 years of marriage-a bond built on love, partnership, and unwavering devotion.
A proud graduate of Shippensburg High School, she worked for the J. Schoeneman-Stanley Textile Factory, the Shippensburg Senior Center, and later as the Manager of Catering and Deli at Cressler's, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.
Jacquelee had a deep love for the outdoors and nature. She found joy in gardening, spending time in the sunshine, and embracing the beauty of the world around her. She also had a passion for sewing, crocheting, and baking.
Above all, Jacquelee cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love knew no bounds. Time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her the greatest joy, and her legacy of love and kindness will live on through them.
Jacquelee will be remembered for her gentle heart, nurturing spirit, and the unwavering love she gave to her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she leaves behind her 1 son, John R. Mower, Jr.; her 3 daughters, Michelle Mower, Trina Mower, and Jacquelee Graham (Wade); her 10 grandchildren, Amber, Amanda, Allyssa, Abigayle, Grant, Dillin, Cheylene, Sierra, Savannah, and Brianna; her 4 great-grandchildren, Ava, Scarlett, Kaydee, and Valaya; her 3 brothers, Robert Myers, Larry Myers, Curtis Myers; her sister, Madea Bauserman (George); her brother-in-law, John McCorkel; and many nieces; nephews; and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Tracey McCorkel; a brother, Steven Myers; and a granddaughter, Jennifer LeAnne Mower.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
