Jacob Fleck Obituary

Born in Santa Clara and raised in Aptos, CA, Jake attended Valencia Elementary, Aptos Junior High School, and was a 1988 graduate of Aptos High School. He went into the sheet metal trade and was a proud union sheet metal worker for George H. Wilson for 37 years. For a few of those years, he was also an instructor for the apprenticeship program.
Jake was an avid sports fan, with a particular love for the 49ers, the Giants, and the Warriors. He had a football autographed by members of the 49ers, led by Joe Montana, which he cherished.
Jake had a heart of gold. He was known for his love of family and friends, generosity, and his signature dance moves (if you know, you know). Jake will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jake was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Ann Fleck. He is survived by his wife, Trinidad Fleck; daughter, Sarah Francis Muhlenhaupt (Eddie); father, Joseph R. Fleck; brothers, Joseph R. Fleck III (Maria) and Joshua R. Fleck (Desiree). He also leaves nieces (Reina, Maya, Vivien, and Emma) and nephews (Anthony, Esteban, Jacob, and Jay), all of whom he adored.
Though he is no longer with us, Jake's legacy lives on through his beloved family and the many lives he touched. He will be forever remembered and cherished.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
