Jacob A. Gutierrez

With deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Jacob A. Gutierrez leaving to mourn family and friends on his day of passing being Thursday, May 25, 2023, age of 42. Jacob was born on November 10, 1981, to Prajedes A. Gutierrez, Jr. and Beatrice M. Amaya. Jacob is third child to his parents, he grew up in the state of Texas, City of San Antonio.
Jacob is preceded in death by his beloved mother Beatrice A. Gutierrez; older brother Augustine A. Gutierrez; first born nephew Adam G. Vara Jr.
He is survived by his two legacies, his sons Gavin Anthony and Michael Amaya; sister Beatrice G. Sanchez (Andrew Sanchez); beautiful mother of his children Kristy M. Gutierrez and his father Prajedes A. Gutierrez. Always will be remembered in love by nieces and nephews, Ashley M. Sanchez (Nicholas with great niece Sophia); Andrew Sanchez, Jr; Aryss B. Murillo (Stephan with great nephew Eli), Elisa and Alejandro Gutierrez of his late brother Auge; many other extended family members and friends.
Jacob was known by many people as a child and as an adult and was always well liked, he certainly had the gift to talk and was never shy. Jake was always one to make people laugh, his smile was infectious. With his family he loved to joke around. As a son, he helped his mother, grandmother and Uncle David with the yards. As a brother, he enjoyed annoying his older sister as often as brothers do. As an uncle, enjoyed making jokes to make everyone laugh. As a worker, he worked hard and had great customer service skills, he was extremely knowledgeable in the automobile inventory industry. Jacob loved to be sociable as he enjoyed his billiards. When possible, enjoyed playing poker cards while waiting for the family bar-b-que to be ready. The most important title that he had was a father to Gavin and Michael. As a father he was filled with absolute pride and love for his boys. He loved to take them to eat at El Sol restaurant and take them to the movies as often as he could. Although his boys did not live here, he would talk to them on the phone about caring for vehicles or any other matters of the heart. Jacob would call them as much as he could, which would always be cherished.
Jacob will always be in our hearts and minds forever. He was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
We shall meet again in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.
