Jacqueline M. "Jackie" Cooper, 80, passed away peacefully on Monday December 09, 2024.
Visitation will be held at Traub Funeral Home in Bridgeport, NY on Saturday December 14, 2024 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. Jaquline will be laid to rest in Kirkville, NY at Pine Plains Cemetery with her husband Russell at a later date.
Jaqueline was born in Utica, NY on January 16, 1944 to the late Richard and Margaret Murphy. She graduated from High School, and married Russell Cooper. The two raised their children and resided in Chittenango, NY for most of their lives.
Jackie had a special appreciation for nature; she enjoyed flowers, birds and animals. She was a devoted caregiver to her family and pets, and loving mother to her children.
Besides her parents, Jacqueline is predeceased by her husband; Russell Cooper, daughter, Tammy Cooper Aldrich, as well as her siblings; Margaret Guarno and Patricia Nelson.
Left to cherish her memory is her sons; Gary Cooper and Rich & Nicole Cooper, her daughter; Kris Pryce, her grandchildren; Derek DeGroff, Brian Degroff, Troy Cooper, Hayley Cooper and Emma Pryce, her great grandson; Ryan Daniel Richardson, her brother and sister in laws; Alan & Mary Cooper, Cindy & Ed Pfrang, Patty & David Wellner, Tim & Carol Pickard, Frank & Tammy Pickard, and her niece and nephew; Susan & Danny Guarno of Utica and Renee Nelson of Utica, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. A special thank you to cousin Karen Murphy for all of the weekly trips, love and time that you gave.
