Jacqueline M. Sparks

Jacqueline M. Sparks, 66, decades long resident of Laguna Beach, California, passed away peacefully, warm and comfortable on November 15th in the most compassionate and kind city of Danbury, Connecticut.
Jacqueline was born December 27th, 1958 and raised in Hazelton, Pennsylvania to a Marine Corps Family to the late John "Si" and Patricia Seiwell (Lyons).
After graduating high school, Jacqueline earned her licensed practical nurse certificate and went on to work as a talented private duty pediatric nurse. She took great pride in her career bettering the quality of children's lives for 47 years. Jackie enjoyed Red Bull, coffee, succulents, hummingbirds, Laguna Beach, Instagram and spending time with her son and family.
She is survived by her loving mother, Patricia Seiwell; her caring brother, Jason Seiwell, of Pennsylvania; her son, Tod Sparks and his partner Brianna Sparks, of Danbury, CT; her daughters, Tasha and Tarah Sparks, of California; her daughter-in-law, Jill Sparks; her granddaughters, Sierra Sparks and Lucy Heiligman; her grandsons, Tyler Memis, Charles and Rex; her cousins, Sasha Seiwell, Adrian Seiwell, Sandy, and Francine, as well as friend of the family Allen Bredbenner.
Jackie's feisty, free spirited and inquisitive personality, her sense of humor, strong will and compassion for her pediatric patients will be missed.
She was a great nurse that was loved by all.
The family will receive friends at Cornell Memorial, 247 White Street, Danbury, CT on Monday, November 24 from 6 – 8 PM.
