Jacques Luer Obituary
Jacques was born in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, on August 14, 1940. He was raised and graduated from high school in Chetek, Wisconsin, where he was known for his ability on the basketball court. After high school, he entered the United States Navy and proudly served his country for five years. He then relocated to northeastern Minnesota and worked for UPS and CAP Oil most of his career.
He lived a full and varied life and will be lovingly remembered for his generosity, sense of humor and unique way of thinking.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Luer and Marguerita Billon; siblings, Frederick Luer, Gerry Luer and Brenda Bullock.
He is survived by his children, Tim Bakken, Ann (David) Peroni, Tony Luer, Michelle Luer, Aaron (Renae) Luer and Ashley Luer; stepchildren, Troy Carlson and Tara (Tad) Sears; grandchildren, Shae Luer and Cale Luer; step grandchildren, Jake Alberg, Mya Alberg and Laura (Daniel) Brown.
In keeping with Jacques's wishes, services will be private.
