Jamie Rolando believed in forever. She began her journey to "rock and roll Heaven" on July 28, 2024, to reunite with "The Band". High Life, Hip Shot, Motown, Jim, Janis, Otis, and Marvin are waiting.
Jamie loved fast cars, fast horses, fast boats, fast guitar riffs, and slow tortoises. She traveled internationally and was a true sun worshiper. She craved the beach, Sonoran Desert, and F1 racing. Her passion and life's work were tortoises and turtles. She was a biologist/herpetologist and was a field researcher. She received her graduate degree while serving as a police officer in Tucson, AZ. As a child and young adult, Jamie was an accomplished equestrian. Jamie would light up a room when she entered, and people were drawn to her personality and laughter.
Jamie will forever live in our hearts. Whenever we think of her, fond memories and laughter will ignite. Jamie was sunshine on a cloudy day, and when it was cold outside, she was the month of May
