James L Bibb, 82, of Jeffersontown, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
Jimmie was born on June 28, 1941, in Jeffersontown, Kentucky to the late Lester and Anna Mae Bibb. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Juanita Huddleston Bibb, sister Joyce Hatfield, and grandson Justin Bibb.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Traci Bibb, James T. Bibb (Julie), and Eric Bibb Manchester (Johnathan); grandchildren Amanda Bibb (Justin), Jeffrey Bibb, Jordan Pope (Cody), Joshua Bibb, Jonah Bibb, and Jacob Bibb; great-grandchildren, Danielle, Katherine, Juliann, Lincoln, Landon, Julia, Ella, Ava, TJ, and Jameson; sister Norma Jean Boggs; in-laws, Andy and Judy Huddleston, Diann Downey, and Sharon Greene; and his very special friend and caregiver, Bianca Covington.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested for donations to the treatment of Parkinson’s disease.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 29, from 10am-1pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens East Funeral Home (11601 Ballardsville Rd, Louisville, KY, 40241), with a service immediately to follow.
