James Clement Obituary
Jim was born on September 22, 1933 to Gaston & Leona (Bergeron) Clement in New Orleans, LA. Jim grew up in New Orleans with his five siblings. He met his wife Mildred Bourgeois there as well and they married in 1951. Jim got a sales job with ABF and worked his way up to becoming Vice President, this moved him and Mildred to many places around the states including Fort Smith, AR, Cincinnati, OH and Ashville, NC. After Jim retired he and Mildred moved to Fort Smith, AR to be closer to his son and grandchildren. Jim loved to cook for the family and working in the yard and gardening.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents and wife of 69 years, Mildred Clement.
He will be deeply missed by his son Duke (Marcia) Clement, grandchildren Kristen (Adam) Snow, James Clement, Adam (Olivia) Clement, John Clement, great grandchildren Shane Snow, Evie Snow, Orion (Rian) Clement, Benjamin Clement, James Joseph Clement, Charles Clement and one great great grandchild Elyza Clement.
The family of Jim would like to thank Mercy Hospice and all the caregivers that have made such a difference in Jim and the Clement family's life.
