James William Davis, Jr." Jim", 71, of Flintstone, GA passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at a local hospital. Jim had lived most of his life in the Chattanooga and North Georgia Area. He graduated from Scottsboro High School in 1972, and he enjoyed his time playing football. After graduating high school, he began his studies in Chattanooga to become and Electrician. Jim was a hard worker, and he became a Master Electrician traveling the world. He was a member of the IBEW Local 175 for 51 years. Jim enjoyed Blue Grass music, and he was a member and volunteer with the Forever Bluegrass family. When he was not working, Jim loved to camp and fish. He loved his family and will be missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James William Davis, Sr. "JW" and Polly Davis; and two sisters, Charlotte Marden and Linda Neal.
Survivors include his two sons, Jesse Davis and Jody Davis; brother, Tommy Davis; sister, Faye Ashmore; two grandchildren, Jack Davis and River James Davis; and several nieces and nephews.
