James & Diane McGaw

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of James Gregory McGaw "Jim" and Diane Karen McGaw "Dee", beloved spouses and cherished parents, grandparents and friends. Jim (September 20th, 1938-February 25th, 2025) and Dee (April 14th, 1941-March 10th, 2025) passed away peacefully within two weeks of each other after 64 years of marriage.
Time with family and friends was what Jim and Dee treasured most. They were devoted parents to Lisa (Brad) Staudt and Heather Blessington, and leave behind five grandchildren-Brandon Staudt, Christian Staudt, Regan Staudt, Grace Blessington and Sid Blessington, who were their absolute pride and joy. They also cherished their relationships with James Blessington, extended family and a wide circle of dear friends.
Jim had a big personality and was very fun to be around. He was always interested in the latest life updates of others and was sought out for his advice and humor. He shared his love of golf, fishing and hunting with others throughout his life. Jim spent 33 years as an insurance agent with American Family Insurance in Brookfield, Wisconsin, gathering many loyal customers and friends along the way.
Dee was known for her generous and gentle spirit, along with her love of cooking and entertaining. Her parties were always filled with an abundance of great food, laughter and love. At Christmas, Dee loved to bake cookies with her grandchildren and spoil them with gifts. Like Jim, Dee always made time to be there for others. She was a very patient and caring listener, and went out of her way to make others feel special.
While Jim and Dee's passing leaves a deep void, it brings comfort to know that they are together and have been reunited with their family and friends who preceded them in death.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 17th from 3-5PM at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 1875 North Calhoun Road, Brookfield, Wisconsin, 53005. Service to follow at 5PM.
