James Dwyer Obituary

Published by Legacy on Aug. 6, 2024.
James Lee Dwyer Jr., affectionately known as "Little James", went to be with our Lord after he tragically lost his life in a hit-and-run accident on August 4, 2024, at the age of 53. Born on January 25, 1971, in San Angelo, Texas, to James Dwyer Sr. and the late Marion Dwyer.
Little James attended Lake View High School and he spent most of his life right here in San Angelo. He was a huge NASCAR fan who was always cheering for his favorite driver. He also really enjoyed fishing and found peace being outdoors. Little James was a very kindhearted, giving person. His loyalty couldn't be questioned, he was always the first one there to try to help someone in need.
He is preceded in death by his mother; Marion Dwyer, and his dear grandparents: James and Christine Dwyer.
He is survived by his loving father, James Dwyer Sr. and stepmom Sharon. His beloved daughter, Haley.
Bonus sisters, Kandyce, Christy, and Holly, with which he shared a very close bond.
Also left to cherish his memory are his Uncle Jerry Dwyer and wife Angela, along with Aunt Chris Dwyer and husband Dusty, special cousin John Dwyer and wife Beverly.
The family tree extended far and wide, with several aunts and uncles on his mother's side, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who each held a special place in his heart.
Little James never met a stranger. He had the ability to light up a room with his presence and leave a lasting impression on those he met.
Little James's life will be honored in a private memorial, surrounded by his family and close friends. It will be a time to share stories, to laugh, to cry, and to remember a man who was truly one of a kind.
He will be deeply missed and never forgotten!
