James Felty Obituary

James Felty, 39, of Grayson, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born in Ashland, KY on December 23, 1984 to Sheree Felty Gumm of Grayson.
James is preceded in death by his stepfather, Roger Gumm; a grandmother, Belva Cartwright; and his best friend, Jason Tolliver.
James was of the Baptist faith and had attended the Wilson Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two stepbrothers, Roger Gumm, Jr. of Grayson, KY, and Randy Gumm of Sandy Hook, KY; two stepsisters, Cindy Ison of Clearfield, KY, and Janet Gumm of Morehead, KY; maternal grandmother, Tillie Mae Bays of Grayson, KY; two uncles, Paul Felty of Bolton, NC, and Jeff Felty of Macon, GA; his aunt, Tammy Jenkins of Rush, KY; several nieces, nephews, and cousins will mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 16, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the Sparks Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Cribbs Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, August 16, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.
