James Wayne "Jim" Jessee, 57, passed away unexpectantly on Sunday, May 18, 2025. He was a resident of Indianapolis, Indiana. Jim was born on October 2, 1967 in Beech Grove, Indiana to James Earl and Donna (Grubb) Jessee. They lovingly survive. Also surviving is his brother, William Earl "Bill" Jessee (Karin); niece, Renee Jessee; best friend, Kevin Steele and his beloved dog, Theo. He was preceded in passing by his grandparents, and Aunt, Nancy Heironuimus, Aunt, Janice Piccione and Uncle, Bill Grubb. Jim was a 1986 graduate of Indian Creek High School. He attended IUPUI. He was employed at Eli Lilly in Indianapolis for many years. Jim enjoyed playing pickleball. Rev. Cleon Wright will conduct a Celebration of Jim's life on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to time of service at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Memorial contributions may be made to: For the Love of a Boxer Rescue & Sanctuary, Wallace, Michigan at "For the Love of a Boxer.org".
