Laatsch, James Caryl was born on March 22, 1943 to the union of Chester and Charlotte Laatsch and brother Tom. He lived Brown Deer Wi for almost 40 years and was born into Eternal Life on Monday, October 28th, 2024 at the age of 81.
Jim is survived by his children Donna Parshall, Steve Laatsch, Jim Laatsch (Kelly) and Traci Laatsch and many grandchildren (Nick, Jake, Alex, Mason, Taylor, Ashlyn, Jonathan and Harper) and four great grandchildren.
He moved from Milwaukee to Thiensville WI with family as a young child. He was part of the first graduating class of Homestead High School in Mequon. Jim was a volunteer firefighter for the Thiensville Fire Department for over 20 years (1960's – 80's). He was on various softball teams during that time. His passions were wood working and working on all types of vehicles. He also enjoyed model trains and attended expos with his cousin John Laatsch. He was an avid Harley rider and attended the 100th celebration in Downtown Milwaukee and many other Harley events.
In lieu of a service, donations can be sent to the Ozaukee Human Society where he adopted his best four-legged buddy, Jasper.
