James Graham Little

James "Jay" Graham Little passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024. He was a teacher, a father, a grandfather, a husband, a brother, and a great friend.
Jay was born January 11, 1954 to Mary Emma (Graham) and Ernest Little in Wilmington, Delaware. He attended Mount Pleasant High School.
He experienced high adventures living and working in Australia and New Zealand for nearly two years. Subsequently, in 1981 he graduated Delaware Technical Community College and became an astute Respiratory Therapist. After serving in the Medical Center of Delaware, he served as Chair of Respiratory Therapy at New Hampshire Vocational Technical College and taught there for six years while also earning his Masters Degree from Antioch University New England. After this experience, he became the first Chair of the Respiratory Therapy Department at Delaware Technical and Community College and developed the program at the Owens Campus in Georgetown, DE. Jay played a pivotal role in the passage of the Respiratory Care Practice Act in both New Hampshire and Delaware.
Jay was a whiz of a fisherman and loved his boating days on the Delaware Bay. He also was a crackerjack gardener and at one point grew 32 types of peppers. His other interests included making maple syrup in New Hampshire and enjoying his farm in Bowers Beach, DE.
Mr Little is survived by his granddaughter, Tess, three children Rebecca, Samuel, and Luke, as well as his wife Theresa and his dear sister Laura with her husband Richard and children Caitlin and Graham.
