James Lee "Road Lizard" & "Pawpaw" Marshall, age 78, passed away on March 8, 2024 with his niece/friend (whom he called his other daughter), Roselyn Hall by his side. James was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed by his family, friends and church family.
He was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. He loved the Tennessee Titans, LSU Tigers and Atlanta Braves. He was always ready for a joke and to aggravate you, if you stopped long enough.
James was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Pearl Marshall.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Terrie (Mario) Padilla, Sherrie (Dan) King and Vickie Adams; granddaughters, Kristina Dohner, Rebecca Padilla, Victoria Padilla, and Caitlin King; grandson, Marc Padilla; great-granddaughters, Kinleigh Dohner and Alma Gooden; great-grandson, Rowan Dohner; beloved sister, Mary Ann Stockstill; numerous other family and friends.
The Visitation for will be Friday, March 15, 2024, from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:30 AM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Hayden Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Serene Memorial Gardens.
