Mr. James E. Maze of Guntersville AL, formally of Arab, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025
Mr. Maze was born in Arab, Alabama to James A. Maze and Edna E. Gullian Maze. He graduated in 1965 from Arab High School, and attended Snead State Collage from 1972-1973. He served as a state trooper cadet, a Arab policeman and deputy and investigator with the Marshall County Sheriffs office. In 1980 he went to work with the Albertville Police Department. He also worked for the County Commission in 2008.
Mr. Maze is survived by his wife: Becky Maze, Daughter: Sherene (Maze) Hutchens (Brant), Brothers: Barry Maze (Tilda) and Keith Maze., Sisters: Marie Walls and Lynn Willis (Jason), 4 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
Proceeded in death by his father: James A. Maze and his mother: Edna Earle (Gullian) Maze
Visitation will be held, Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Guntersville Memorial Chapel from 11:00am until 1:00pm
Funeral Services will be held, Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Guntersville Memorial Chapel at 1:00pm
Pastor Phillip Cody officiating.
Pallbearers: Butch Cartee, Al Theus, Kirk Bauer, Jason Willis, Brant Hutchens, Jared Tatum and James Hardin
