Christopher Lee Stephens, 54 of Blountsville passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham. Chris was born February 1, 1971, in Arab the son of James Lee Stephens and Rela Woodard Stephens. He was a 1989 Graduate of Arab High School and was employed at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Cullman. He has been a part of the Fowler Springs Baptist Church family for many years.
He is survived by his wife: Deanna McDaniel Stephens; sons: Griffin Stephens (Jaisa) and Hudson Stephens; he was expecting his first grandchild in August: Hattie Morgan Stephens; parents: James Lee Stephens (Dewanda), Rela Padgett (Thomas) and Paula Stephens-Coker; sisters: Stacey Abott (Chip) and Brandi Stephens (Naveen); brother: Brent Stephens (Jennifer); grandparents: Wanda Love Smith, O.C. and Sara Ann Townson; host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Funeral Service was 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Fowler Springs Baptist Church with Brother Michael Murphree officiating. The burial was in Fowler Springs Cemetery, Blountsville Funeral Home directing. Visitation was 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Fowler Springs Baptist Church.
Pallbearers: Shannon Woods, Brett Foust, Michael Foust, Donnie Stephens, Clay Dunn and Jeremy McDaniel.
