Mr. James Elliott Miller, 93, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025 in his home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2025 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Mr. Tommy Dawson officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. before the service begins.
James was born October 6, 1931. He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel; parents, Edward and Dorothy Miller; sisters, Mae and Fae; daughters, Michelle Miller and Patricia Moore (Gene); and a granddaughter Darien Garnto.
James was active In the First Baptist Church serving as Deacon and on various committees. He dedicated his time to his cattle farm and being a Charter member of the Civitan Club in Hawkinsville and supporting the Band Program for many years. He loved having a large family and will be missed greatly.
Survivors include his daughter, Lina Lane (Ronald); and a niece, Catherine Daniel, he was also blessed with 6 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
